VR system in a shipyard of China shipbuilding industry

(Summary description)The system is composed of Onyx SGI and Barco Galaxy devices. The system is of great significance to the virtual manufacturing of Wuchang Shipyard. The system is based on the virtual reality system:
1. Build A three-channel virtual display center to achieve a large-scale, high-definition three-dimensional display environment, to provide viewers with a realistic visual experience of the virtual product model;

2. The virtual reality environment is used to realize real-time monitoring of ship design and assembly, improve design quality, divide the modules into real-time design and assembly review, and integrate the integration of Shell, paint and design, production and management, to Achieve Space Division, time orderly, balanced and continuous assembly shipbuilding;

3. Design Review and Engineering Review of ship design scheme, including collision and Interference Analysis in assembly process, to realize the digital model of the whole ship;

4. Try to carry out the production process digitization work, for the future to carry on the digitization plant to lay the foundation.
