The MPMP multi-channel multimedia studio system is a multimedia generation and playback system used in a multi-channel stereoscopic virtual reality display environment. Perform studio editing and production of multimedia materials such as text, pictures, movies, and sounds, and output the completed high-resolution images and animations to a multi-channel display system with high enough video.

MPMP can edit, record and play back three-dimensional movies and animations composited from high-resolution static images, or high-resolution video clips taken by cameras/camcorders in real time. The system can perform geometric correction and edge fusion processing on the output computer image to adapt to the multi-channel display environment of PowerWall flat screen or curved screen or even spherical screen. You can also perform special color gradient processing, static transparent effects, edge softening, smoke particles and other special effects processing.

Hardware system support

The MPMP multi-channel multimedia studio system is composed of a multi-node PC cluster host, a control PC master, a gigabit network interactive machine, media production and playback software, and synchronization camera equipment options.

Each player can output a stereo signal with a resolution of SXGA+, and each player can play an image matching the resolution of the projector. The animation made by the user is encoded by the multimedia digital signal decoder CODEC-conversion such as JPG/BMP/TGA and other signals to generate MPG/WMV files. If stereo viewing is required, the content needs to be set to two JPG sequences, one for the left eye and one for the right eye. Distributed File Management System (DFM) can read these JPG frame sequence images and generate independent left-eye and right-eye images for system playback.
