Background:
Reconnaissance and early warning refers to the use of electro-optical/infrared/radar sensors on board, on board and on board in various battlefield environments, the technique of detecting, identifying, monitoring, tracking, locating, and directing against various enemy targets.
Process of sensor simulation and simulation:
The function of SensorFX product is to realize the simulation and simulation (M & S) Application Software of reconnaissance and early warning scene of common sensors, such as photoelectricity, infrared, radar, etc. . Users can import satellite images, images in RGB format or three-dimensional view, use its own powerful Material Library to classify the Material, combined with users using Gui input battlefield environment parameters, the infrared/electromagnetic radiation of the original image is calculated by simulating and simulating the effect of sensors embedded in the software, and the image is recorded and displayed. The detailed flow of simulation and simulation is shown in figure 1.

In the above simulation process, with the following 5 functional modules to ensure that the simulation and simulation of the authenticity and accuracy:
Material Library Rich Material Library: Material Library covers a variety of materials of simulation entities; the Library covers more than 300 physical Material types, covering surface plants, water bodies, buildings, hardware, rubber, soil and other materials (see figure 2) . Provides the optical, thermophysical and electromagnetic properties of each material, such as specific heat, thermal conductivity, specific heat, latent heat, etc. . Such as the sun, Moonlight and moonlight and other natural and artificial light sources.
Sigsim real-time sensors, Los Physics engines:In the course of simulation, the atmospheric transmittance of Los EO/IR/RF, the intensity of Los Path radiation/RF noise, the luminance of Los Scattering radiation, the material temperature, the directional reflectivity and emissivity, the reflected RF energy, the surface radiance, the aperture radiance and the aperture RF energy in the complete transient thermal model can be calculated.
Atmospheric file editor:Users can customize the number, pressure, temperature, humidity and concentration of molecular components in the atmosphere; Rain Layer, rain layer; wavelength range; geographic location parameters, seasons and dates of simulation scenarios; and operating Mode Selection (multiple scattering, Navy Aerosol Model) .
GENESISMC material classification tool:Genesis MC is an intelligent semi-automatic material classification tool, which can use texture mapping data to describe the radiation information of model surface materials. For 3d models of engines, tires, lights and other independent heat sources, can independently identify the activity of the heat zone, and can set the highest heating temperature, when motor vehicles start, it can be heated gradually as the heating time progresses and cooled gradually as the engine is turned off.
Modtran radiation transfer module: Can calculate the Atmospheric Transmittance and the Radiation Brightness of any atmospheric path, the spectral range from 0.2 μm ultraviolet, visible, infrared to millimeter wave band, spectral resolution is 1 cm-1. Modtran offers 10 atmospheric models for different geographic latitude locations and seasonal climates, each of which defines atmospheric pressure, temperature and the mixture of 25 gases in the 50-layer atmosphere from sea level to 120 km altitude. Also, there are 12 models for aerosols. Using MODTRAN atmospheric radiative transfer model, the atmospheric radiative transfer correction from no-load height to ground level and from ground level to sensor level can be carried out.
Simulation and simulation application cases:
Scene description:The airborne infrared cameras carry out reconnaissance of important enemy installations on the ground during the daytime and at night.
Original input picture:Aircraft Photograph in visible light.
SEARCH TARGET:A disguised enemy fuel depot.
Background:Trees, sand and common buildings.
TYPE OF SIMULATED INFRARED SENSOR:Long wave (8-9 ΜM) infrared camera.
Simulation output image:
Two long wave infrared heat maps at 4 am and 10 am, two long wave infrared heat maps at 4 pm and 10 pm, one infrared heat map at Noon (see figure 3, top right) , and one night vision image (see figure 3, bottom right) . At 10:00 am, the temperature of the fuel tank is higher than that of the surrounding background. The intensity of the infrared radiation is different from the background, which is easy to be captured by the infrared camera (see Fig. 3 above) . The midday temperature was the highest of all time frames, so the infrared difference between the bunker and the surrounding area was most significant (see figure 3, top right) .
